Speaking of Bond, i just bought the bond box set(all 22) last week for 60 quid. Not bad.

I have been meaning to do that...I only have a box set with 5 movies, From Russia With Love, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, Live & Let Die, For Your Eyes Only & GoldenEye, then I got both Casino Royales, and Quantum individually.

You should its well worth and is good to have for the collection.

Again, that's not parkour. Saying that was parkour is like saying your last post was poetry. They both have words...but that's about it.

God I usually hate these Chris vs Leon arguments.... My opinion, Chris would own. He is definitely stronger than Leon and most people forget that Chris has done his own laser hall ninja tricks. People tend to base all of the Leon arguments on speed... By that rationale Jill would destroy every RE character. Chris has more experience and that goes a long way and imho gives him the edge.


As for the actual topic: Being an oldschool RE'er, I will always have a place in my heart for The Moonlight Sonata... It is the quintessential Resident Evil track.

Chris certainly has more experience, in quantity & quality, and is definately stronter, and can deal out one hell of a punch.

And your right about the hall of lasers, him & Jill did that too, in Operation Talos, and technically that happened before RE4(2003 vs 2004), so Chris gets that too.

Still don't get it why do people think that Chris is lot better. Cuz he was S.T.A.R.S. member and Leon wasn't in 1998? Chris survived the mansion incident when he was 25. Leon survived even worse nightmare when he was only 21 in RE2 and he was rookie cop not a "special tactics and rescue service" member. That makes Leon #2? I'm not saying that Chris sucks but that doesn't mean he's better.

I think that everyone that is rooting for Chris in this debate, has given more than, "He was a STARS member". Come on now, give us more credit than that.

I personally like Chris better, and while you obviously like Leon better, it seems more like a fanboyish kind of like, the kind where one denies all reason and just thinks that particular character is the greatest.

Leon isn't some schmoe, I know it, you know it, Ada knows it, but his credentials are just a few steps below Chris. I don't think Chris is way better, but I think one on one, mono y mono, Chris would win, 9 times out of 10.

Well yeah I kinda feel like Leon's fan. When I played RE4 I was like wow that's the coolest MF ever!

Just wanted to say that I'd rather go through RE4's events any day over RE1's events. How can you possibly say that RE4 was more of a nightmare than RE1? Jesus.

I actually would have found RE1's events better...I mean, after you get inside without ending up like Frost, it could be pretty cozy in there, some mind tingling puzzles, slow zombies, etc, I would prefer that.

@Desperado, Leon is one cool MF'er, and I love his character, but with all that said, Chris is just more fit for a fight, and would more than likely win.

Despite thinking Leon is cool, you got to be able to look at what each character brings to the table, and if you can't do that unbiased, then your opinion on a simulated fight can't really be taken seriously.

Still. RE1 had Yawn and Neptune. Plus crimsons. And the atmosphere was way creepier. That alone would make going through it a trial on the mind.

Atmosphere, yes, as RE0 was a few steps behind there. Like wannabe "Keeper's Diary" files that show someone becoming a zombie through their diary pages...

Otherwise, you say Yawn, Neptune & Crimsons, I say Berserkers, Mimicry Marcus, & large roach things.

Both games have Hunters, zombies, spiders, etc.

Mimicry Marcus' and the roaches aren't scary though. Just tough. Unless you have molotovs.

Likewise, Yawn wasn't scary, unless you have a phobia of snakes...

Mimicry Marcus was tough for sure, and everytime you hear that music, you know you are either going to get killed, or get in danger after killing it, after it explodes.

The Neptune was kind of scary, mainly once the music picked up, the frantic violin whenever the large one is about to burst out of the water and eat you, and Crimsons, well maybe a little scary the first time, seeing them in the REmake, I really don't think too much of them anymore...

Yawn was scary as all hell. Mainly in the original. His eyes were suppppper creepy.

The music also adds something, his entrance in the REmake was nice...

A new person seeing Yawn might find it scary, or even shocking, grotesque, etc, but as for me, and most other RE fans, something like Yawn is just another BOW...it takes a bit more than a large reptile to get a shock nowadays...

Yeah, I really wish they made him look more grotesque and rotten.
