Favorite RE5 Mercs character

Mine is a tie between BSAA Jill and Midnight Wesker (so far) because both their pistols are fucking-A lethal.

What's yours and why?

Can't say, haven't gotten RE5 yet. Although I think Jill's melee attacks look pretty damn sweet.

I don't get many opportunities to use them. Mercenaries is so frantic I hardly have time to check my inventory, heal myself, etc..

Yeah I noted that... Somehow I think that enemy spawns are way to... SPAWNING lol

Yeah, but I suppose that that factor ups the tension quota signifigantly. That's what I found very fun/ worrying about the RE4 mercs. Being low on ammo and surrounded.

Anybody gonna buy the Versus mode tommorow?, Ill play against ya with my STARS Wesker, which is my fav IMO

Probably not me. As I've said elsewhere on this board, Resident Evil and multi-player aren't a good fit together, IMO.

I'm getting it sometime for the trophies. And just to try it out. GL I think coop worked extremely well, unless you mean multiplayer against eachother. We'll have to wait and see if it is good or not.

That is very weird, as my two favs are exactly the same....

When I was lucky enough to unlock Jill(BSAA) I started getting a bunch of A's, then when I unlocked Wesker(midnight) I used him on some of the more difficult levels, but all in all I think I prefer to use Jill(BSAA), her pistol is really 'lethal', even though her stance when she holds it feels a bit strange at first, and her MP5 is really effective too, some flash grenades and a first-aid maker her all the better, in addition to Jill being really cool in her Sarah Connor outfit.

I mean multi-player in general, regardless of whether it's co-op or versus.

Co-op is the only thing keeping me playing RE 5. One of the best decisions they ever made.

Funny thing is, I looked at the added achievements for Versus and I saw something about unlocking all the characters, I dunno if they're are the same or if they added some new ones. It would be cool to play as Hunk, or even Barry Burton (lol, jill sandwhich). I dunno, i guess ill find out at 5 pm, chances are they wont add any new characters.

From what I read, I think that you have to rebuy characters using the points you get in the versus mode itself.

Yes I found that out, I played versus, I didnt like it one bit, ghost's right, the game isnt good for versus

Im a bit confused about the versus thing... What is it all about?

I wouldnt say that is the only thing that would keep me playing RE5,but yeah its of their best decisions ever made to add coop.
