Haha, maybe so, but I seriously saw more potential for REmake Barry than Billy or Carlos Oliveira ever had, and those are some names people want back in the games.

I'm honestly not sure what they can do with Barry. He's okay for a cameo every now and then, but not in the sense PWNRX would want him in: main character kicking doors down guns ablazing. I mean, if that's what you had in mind as well.

Not a main character, a support character. But, just because he is getting old, doesn't mean he is unable to do things. This will involve horror elements, but he wouldn't be doing what you describe. Okay, maybe he'll do it once to save someone from thugs.

Barry has the most to lose in the RE franchise. A family. Chris had Claire but she can take care of herself. A storyline with Barry's family in danger, him being old and having to use his skills in a horror ambient could work. Take a serious route with him. I believe it could be done. I am 100% sure it won't, but it could work, if they were to go back to RE's roots (which they won't).

Yes, let's have Barry's family be in trouble again. Maybe his daughter could be kidnapped by zealous Spaniards.

If you ask me, the only time Barry might come back is for a "Big Damn Heroes" moment. By the time RE7 comes out, Barry would be about 55 or 56 (If the game takes place in the release year).

I think that could work in a spinoff. Barry already had one spinoff with him as the main character so another one wouldn't be that far fetched. It could be like Schwarzenegger's Last Stand, just with waaay less action.
