I think a plane would be awesome as a small part as long as it's a wrecked plane in the middle of the woods or something. I wouldn't want it to last an entire game though. That'd be horrible. Imagine RE0 all on the train... ugh.

No. The train was only about the first quarter of the game.

But in all seriousness, even the largest airplane in the world, the Antonov 225, is quite small in terms of gameplay.

As a short segment in a game, it might work. But Capcom would be better off sticking to things like cruise ships, oil tankers, or aircraft carriers if they want settings for a game that's mobile.

I think in RE 3.5 Leon was supposed to be on some kind of air craft like that.

It is funny looking back at these old post.. re6 that game out after this thread had a portion on a plane. Even on Revelations 2 there is an entire mercenaries map on that plane. That for-site!

Also, one of the hardest boss fights in Resident Evil takes place on a plane IMO. Code Veronica! Trapped with the Tyrant in the cargo area, which while bigger than a phone booth, is to small of an area to fight a Tyrant!
