| The Cabin in the Woods. If you haven't already, go see it. Also Insidious was cool too. |

| Anyone have any favorite horror movies they'd like to share? Mine would have to be (And don't make fun of me for this).......The Blair Witch Project . This movie gets alot of bad rep for some reason. Once you look past what it seems to be, that's where it starts to get interesting. It's a relatively short film clockin in at under an hour and a half, but it seems shorter when you watch it. The main story is that in 1994, a group of three filmmakers went off into the woods near the town of Burkitsville, Maryland, with the idea of shooting a documentary about a local urban legend called "The Blair Witch". At first, everything goes well, until they reach an proported Indian Gravesite, when one of them accidently knocks over one of the tombstones. After that, everything goes wrong. Things start to assault their tent at night, and as they try to get out of the woods, they walk in every possible direction, but they always end up back at the same spot. Finally, one of the group disappears in the middle of the night. It all leads to a climatic ending in which the remaining two filmmakers find an abandonded house from which they can hear the screams of their friend. As they head into the basement, the camera drops, continues to records for a few moments, and then the film ends. The filmmakers are never heard from again. A year later, their footage was found. The film was advertised as real footage. It was filmed as if someone simply took a cheap camera out into the woods and started filming. I simply like it because it almost seems as if it could be real, just because of the manner in which it was filmed. |

| Someone mentioned Insidious here, it's not the best horror film I've ever seen but I do like the twist in the ending.
1408 confused the hell out of me, although it was a while ago since I watched it, I might give it another try.
I'm a firm believer in ghosts, so any ghost films I generally enjoy unless they're completely over the top.
Rose Red by Stephen King is one of my favorite horror films, I also enjoyed 'IT'. |

That right there is a scary movie, I've watched it on T.V and Youtube but I absolutely refuse to purchase it on DVD. The director is a complete whack job, and I refuse to give him any of my money. Why is he a whack job? He molested a little boy on the set of one of the movies he was making and he was actually only in jail for a measly 15 months. Sick. |

He tackled mt to the ground and pined me and at at this point the moon was covered and it was black again and I was crying and screaming. But then I Hurd laughter it was my fucking step dad he crawled out the front door of the house and climbed up and waited for me prick! I was like five years old. And still to this day he still freaks me the fuck out that's whyi love the movies it's the only movie that scares me. |

| ^ Wow. Your step dad does sound like a jerk.
Something similar that happened to me was that I watched the original 1974 "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" when I was 10. One night I went to go get the mail around 9 because my parents forgot to get it. Well, I was heading down to the box, but my neighbor was cutting wood somewhere across the road. I didn't know that at the time, so all I heard was a chainsaw going.
Needless to say, I ran back to the house, completely freaked out |
