Hi guys.

Been trawling teh internetz for ages trying to find a Resident Evil forum that was actually active, and I have fianlly succeeded.

To Leon Kennedy, sorry for all the head-chopping-off times. Hope we can still be friends.

Seriously, why were people scared of Lickers? Even if they caught you, a couple of shotgun shells to the face finished them off. Garradors (sp?) were a lot worse IMO.

@dr_salvador . . . it's the entrance that's scary... they always crash down before you could pass... like the one in the treasure room and the interrogation room and don't forget the vents in the lab..

and for gods sake stop revving the chainsaw I AM ON THE NIGHTSHIFT !!
lickers were scary, especially RE2 well if you played RE2 back in the days then they were scary lol
also they can be a pain in the ass for speedrunners if you dont dodge them right

killing wastes seconds, and plus I have a good dodging method I never really even fire a bullet at an enemy's
except the boss's or if I am in a room full of zombies and cant get past, but thats why I only carry the shotgun so I can get a spray burst for a second then keep on running. My signature was my last speed run but I kinda messed up and got hurt more times than ussual and also was to much to do that day lol but I will post A video of a speedrun soon and show you what I mean about dodging everything lol. I hate the gatling gun guys

Lickers were scary on Resi Evil 2, at least a bit. But they were pretty lame on Resident Evil 5. But still not as lame as Jill with Blonde hair.

And I'm sorry, I just headed out to do some tree felling and Leon turns up with his guns and shiz. What was I supposed to do? I'm a freakin' Ganado afterall. rabbit

And I suppose that easy Licker dodging method is good ol' scootin' as I call it?

dodge as many lickers as you can since it's a speedrun... me.. i'm not good at speedrun, i'm more of a weapon+kill+speedrun type...

if you must know i have a new fear... not chainsaw's or gatlings it's this...

Claire was pretty bang tidy in those RE2 cutscenes. And she's cute in DC, too! But none of them can hope to compare to Ada. She clearly got a lot of surgery since the Racoon City days!

People were scared of lickers because of the fact that their tongues were extremely long and could rip through a man with no problem. I've never really understood the hype about Ada. Jill and Claire are both much better. Also, I loved Jill's blonde hair. There is a reason it was blonde anyway. Also, welcome dr_salvador! I do hope you enjoy your stay. Which games have you played?

@ace: Please stop telling people to not double post. I don't want the first thing they see to be a rule all up in their face. Makes us looks like nazis. If someone double posts, I will inevitably come across it and deal with it.

Well, I've only played RE 2. But only Claire A and Leon A. And Resident Evil 4 was the game that started my RE love. I've also played Resident Evil 5. Yeah...I've seen a lot of walkthroughs of the other but I haven't played them yet. I'm kinda nooby as a fan compared to most people here but hey...

You've played RE2 which makes you a solid fan. I would say that even people who have only played RE4 or 5 or both are solid fans, as long as they don't bash the old ones. I hate when people do that.
